There is much more to the universe that meets the eye. In this lecture, we will discover the powerful phenomena, extraordinary events, and prodigious objects that populate the universe and how incredible that we have been able to find it with the light that we cannot see. 

Dr Alfredo Carpineti is an astrophysicist, science journalist, and award-winning social activist.

He is the Space & Physics Editor for IFL Science, where he has worked for 10 years, writing over 6,000 articles that have been read by millions. His first book, Invisible Rainbows, came out in May 2026, published by Wilton Square Books.
