The Society is planning a variety of events in 2022 to celebrate William Herschel’s achievements on the bicentenary of his death in 1822. The main focus will be over a weekend in Bath which will include an introduced concert of (mainly) William’s music in St Swithin’s Church on the evening of Friday September 30, and a whole day conference on William’s contributions to astronomy and science at BRLSI on Saturday October 1st.
